From print shop to ad agency
Source3Media specializes in online (web/interactive), offline (digital/offset print) and outreach (social media, video production) services, providing a marketing approach that spans all industry needs through a single point of contact.
Source3Media has been servicing the greater Cleveland area for over 50 years. The company began as Hudson Printing—operating with just four employees producing business cards and forms in a small office space, later growing in into a workshop and warehouse to handle offset, bindery and other print-related services.
In 2009, Hudson Printing experienced a corporate renaissance after being purchased by business partners Al Carrero and Pat McCausland. The pair quickly retooled the company’s standards of operation and equipment, adding new offset presses alongside digital and design equipment capable of matching and often times exceeding industry standards for print quality and color.
In 2013, Hudson Printing was fine-tuned internally, receiving a brand and marketing department with web development and film production capabilities. Hudson Printing’s marketing wing was introduced to clients as “Hudson Collective” and the company found success in marrying traditional print production with interactive services—a unique offering that many of its clients had been asking for.
Within the last year, Hudson Printing and Hudson Collective have successfully made the transition as Midwest market leaders in online and offline services. Now, and as of December 1, 2016, the brands are coming together under one roof as Source3Media, a full-service advertising agency and printer. The rebranded union of print and interactive production houses occupies a 50,000 square foot facility, employing 48 full-time individuals, as well as contractors and part-time workers to service local, regional and national clients.
